ServiceCEO will create and export paychecks for an employee's gross wage. Paycheck amounts are detailed by type of pay. ServiceCEO provides a rich interface for defining General Ledger (GL) The general ledger is the main accounting record of a business which uses double-entry bookkeeping. It consists of accounts for fixed assets, current assets and liabilities, profit and loss or income and expenditure items, and funds or reserves. The general ledger is a summary of all of the transactions that occur in the company. accounts for different pay types for financial and management reporting purposes.
Paycheck information exported by ServiceCEO is not intended to be entered directly in a GL application as journal entries. Typically, information exported by ServiceCEO will be used by a separate payroll processor that will add deductions for payroll taxes, cut a check, and return the complete transaction to the General Ledger. The payroll processor could be a third-party service, software program, or bookkeeper.

To export a paycheck, you first need to generate the paycheck from the Payroll tab of the Office Duties section. See the Generating Paychecks section for details.
When the paycheck is generated, click Save and Export to export this paycheck to your accounting application. If you click Close, the paycheck will not be exported.
