Previous Topic: QuickBooks Overview
When integrating with a General Ledger (GL) application with ServiceCEO, you need to enter or select the GL account names/numbers to which you want to send different types of data. This is described in detail in the Integrations sections below.
If you are integrating with QuickBooks, ServiceCEO imports the account names from QuickBooks so that they are synchronized between the two applications. See the Configuring QuickBooks Integration section for more. In addition, if you are using Inventory Tracking, you can synchronize your vendor information between QuickBooks and ServiceCEO. See the Integrating Inventory with Accounting section for details.
To integrate ServiceCEO with an accounting program, either QuickBooks or a General Ledger Application, follow these steps:
Log into ServiceCEO as the administrator.
Select Tools > Options or press CTRL+O. The Options page appears.
Click Company Information from the Categories Bar. The Company Information dialog box appears.
Scroll down to the bottom of this dialog box.
You can integrate two aspects of ServiceCEO with your accounting application:
Sales, purchasing and Accounts Receivable. Can be linked to XML or QuickBooks. To integrate with QuickBooks, please read the Configuring QuickBooks Integration section. To integrate with XML, please read the Configuring XML Integration section.
Payroll Integration. Please read the Configuring XML Integration section to learn how to integrate payroll with a GL application.
Once integrated, you can export the following data to your accounting application:
Accounts Receivable and Adjustments. See the Export Sales section.
Payments. See the Export Deposits section.
Purchase Orders. See the Exporting Purchase Orders section.
Paychecks. See the Exporting Paychecks section.
