The Vocabulary option lets you customize common ServiceCEO terms.
Select Tools > Options or press CTRL+O. The Options dialog box appears.
Click Vocabulary from the Categories bar. The Vocabulary Options dialog box appears.
Type a new name for any field that you would like to customize. The fields on this page are described below in the order in which they appear:
First field. The name for the individuals/organizations to which you provide services and or products. This setting defaults to "Customer".
Second field. The name for a job with a frequency, or service plan. Defaults to "Schedule A job with a frequency (service plan). Saving a schedule will create a series of jobs, depending on the frequency settings. The term Schedule is customizable. For details, see the Defining Vocabulary section of the Implementation Manual.".
Third field. The name for the work scheduled to be performed for your customers. This defaults to "Jobs".
Fourth field. The name for the people who perform tasks for your customers. This field defaults to "Employees". Customized Examples: Technicians, subcontractors, cleaners, service providers.
Fifth field. The name for the area of the application in which you will perform various financial and inventory tasks. This field defaults to "Office Duties". Customized examples: Financials, Completions, To Dos, Pending Posting.
Sixth field. The name for a group of employees who perform tasks. This field defaults to "Teams". Customized Examples: Crews, Routes, Technician, Trucks, etc.
Seventh field. The name for a pre-service plan for your customers. This field defaults to "Estimates".
Eighth field. The name for a contract for service between you and your customers. Defaults to "Service Contracts".
Ninth field. The name for a grouping of products and services. Defaults to "Kits".
Tenth field. The name for a set of services, products, kits, and/or tasks that are scheduled under multiple visits but all appear on one invoice. Defaults to "Projects".
Eleventh field. The name for the individual jobs that make up a project. Defaults to "Visits".
Click OK.
