Notes associated with an address are stored in the Notes tab of the Address Information dialog box. Note that this is different then notes that are related to a specific job; job notes should be entered in the General tab of the appropriate job record.
The Notes tab contains two tabs, designed to store different types of notes:
Work Order Notes. Essential information about this location that employees should know when performing their work. This information will be printed on all of the customer's work orders.
Private Notes. For internal use only and will never appear on any customer reports.
You can enable and use RTF formatting in either of these notes.
If you have Mapping enabled, you can display directions to the customer’s address by clicking Get Directions. Your mapping tool will appear, displaying the directions you requested. When you close your mapping tool, you will be prompted if you to add these directions to the open notes field. Click Yes to copy the directions to this field.
