Customers Notes Tab

The Notes tab displays all of the customer’s notes. You can use notes to capture information about the customer, about the service that was provided to the customer, and, in general, anything about the customer that doesn't fit anywhere else.

Tip!

Tip:
A quick, standardized method of capturing customer feedback is to use the Feedback Wizard. The Feedback Wizard presents you with a series of questions you can ask the customer, and will create a customer note based on the answers that they provide you.

To open a note, double-click the appropriate line item. The Note dialog box appears. For more, see the Adding a Note section.

Tip!

Tip:
You can view a history of the actions performed on the customer record by selecting View > Current View > System Notes. A new note will be created every time you edit or add information to the customer record.

The number at the bottom of the page between the Balance and Date is the average Rank value for all of the notes for this customer.

Note!

Note:
Notes with a rank of 0 are not included in the average rank calculations.
You can always change the default rank of a note reason. See the Editing Note Reasons topic for details.

You can always summarize all employee notes by running the Customer Notes report.
