Locking a Team

You can lock any team in ServiceCEO for the day, meaning that no other jobs can be added to the team. You can, however, remove jobs and add/remove members from the team while the team is locked.

Before you can lock a team, you must first enable team locking in the Scheduling Options dialog box.

To lock a team:

  1. Open the Dispatch Board.

  2. Select the date for which you want to lock a team from the Currently Viewing drop-down list. The Dispatch Board will refresh to display the date you selected.

  3. Right-click the title bar of the team you want to lock and select Lock from the pop-up menu. The title bar of the team's window will change from blue to red, indicating that the team is locked for the day.

If, after a team is locked for the day, you try to add another job to that team, a warning message will appear, informing you that the team is locked.

To unlock the team:

  1. Open the Dispatch Board.

  2. Right-click the title bar of the locked team and select Unlock from the pop-up menu. The title bar of the team's window will change from red to blue, indicating that the team is unlocked.
