The employee record's Detail tab records various details about the employee.
Most of these fields are for informational purposes. The non-intuitive fields are described below.
Web Access. Click Configure to setup MobileTech for this employee. MobileTech provides employees web access to ServiceCEO via a cell phone or handheld mobile device. For more details, read the Configuring Employees for MobileTech topic.
Max E-mail Chars. The Max E-mail Chars field is linked to MobileTech web access. Enter the maximum amount of characters your employee’s remote access device can display. When emailing your employees, the number in the Max E-mail Chars field and a Character Count field limit the size of your e-mail to ensure it will display correctly on your mobile technician’s remote device.
