Default Map Origin

By default, your maps will open to the address you defined in the Company Information dialog box.

However, if you want your maps to open to another location, or have not defined an address in the in the Company Information dialog box, you can indicate where you want your maps to open by using the Default Map Origin tool.

1. Select Tools > Options > Company Information.

2. Click Set Default Map Origin. The Exact Coordinates dialog box appears.

3. Close the informational window by clicking the X button.

4. Click and drag the marker to the location where you want your maps to start.

5. Click OK.
