Mapping Overview

ServiceCEO integrates with two mapping providers:

• Google Maps.

• Microsoft MapPoint.

Mapping integration, and the provider that will be used, is turned on in the Mapping Options dialog box. For some of the differences between the two tools, see the Differences Between Mapping Tools topic.

You can use these mapping tools from several places within ServiceCEO:

• Dispatch Board

• The Scheduling Assistant

• Right-click mapping feature, available from the:

• Customer List

• Calendar

• Dispatch Board

The right-click menu provides you with several different mapping options:

• Map Location/Map Service Location. Not available on the Dispatch Board. For the customer list, opens a map focused on the customer's primary address. From the calendar, opens the job's address as selected from the Address Name field.

• Get Directions. Displays driving directions between the selected address and:

  • From Office. The main office address as defined in the Company Information dialog box.

  • From Employee. The employee address as defined on the employee's General tab.

  • From Address. An address that you enter.
