Most booked jobs are assigned a specific date and time. However, some customers may not know exactly when they will be available for service. You can put these jobs onto the Picklist. The Picklist is a list of active jobs without a specific engagement time (i.e., a job without a defined start date/time). While the job will appear on the calendar for the date/time on which you originally scheduled it, it will also appear on the Picklist. When the customer decides when they want their service to occur, you can schedule it by clicking and dragging the job from the picklist to the calendar or Dispatch Board. Doing so will change the job's date/time and remove the job from the picklist.
Before you can use the picklist, you must first enable the use of Picklists by selecting the Enable scheduling Picklist check box in the Scheduling Options page. See the Defining Scheduling Options section for more.

In other words, only jobs that occur within this active period will be visible. Once a schedule's jobs are on the picklist, they can be moved/assigned individually; once created, moving one job will not affect the rest of the schedule's jobs.
