Upgrading MobileTech

MobileTech needs to be running the same version as the ServiceCEO Client. Thus, whenever you upgrade the client, you will need to upgrade MobileTech as well.

Caution!

Caution:
Upgrading MobileTech will overwrite your current web.config file. If you want to keep your current configuration settings, you must save the current version of this file in a different location (outside of C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\) before you start the upgrade process. Once the upgrade is complete, overwrite the new web.config file with the old version and your old settings will be used on the new MobileTech website.

To upgrade your MobileTech installation:

  1. Run the MobileTech installation file. A dialog box appears, asking you if you are sure you want to upgrade your MobileTech files.

  2. Click Yes. The InstallShield Wizard appears.

  3. Click Next. The upgrade will begin. When it is complete, a Finish page appears.

  4. Click Finish. MobileTech is upgraded!
