The MobileTech Inventory Source screen

This page displays the stock locations (Inventory) A location, like a warehouse or a truck, where inventory is stored. In ServiceCEO, office locations and teams (and, in ServiceCEO Enterprise, branch and regional offices) can be identified as Stock Locations. at which the selected inventory item is available.

If the selected inventory item is serialized Serialized Inventory items generally have a unique serial number attached to each instance of an item in stock. Serialized items each have a unique unit cost and sell-price, hence the exact cost for a job or invoice depends on the exact items selected to fill the charge. Until these items are assigned to fill the charge on a job default price and cost information is obtained from the values in the Master Product List. When viewing a job prior to completion the user can view the items assigned to a charge by double-clicking on the charge line-item and selecting SHOW ITEMS. Serialized items support assignment of warranty information and manufacturer information prior to sale of the item., then each line item will represent a single instance of the inventory item.

If the selected inventory item is non-serialized Non-serialized Inventory items are small parts that are generally indistinguishable from one another. Items received from different vendors are assumed to be interchangeable for filling any part request. Non-serialized items can be sold and tracked in fractional quantities up to four decimal places (i.e.: 43.3082 widgets). Because non-serialized items are interchangeable, ServiceCEO supports several costing models for estimating the cost of a given item when sold., then each line item represents the entire stock location. Select the stock location from which you want to use the inventory item. The Inventory Quantity screen appears.
